One design language

Components carry the design decisions so apps do not each re-invent them. Tokens are the contract; raw colour and spacing values are not.

Accessible by default

Every component is tested against axe, and accessibility regressions fail CI rather than reaching consumers.

Documentation that cannot drift

Prop, event and slot tables are generated from the source. A component without a docs page does not merge.

Early days

Habitus is being set up. The component set, the token vocabulary and the styling approach are all still open — see the TO DISCUSS section in the repository README before building anything substantial on top of it.
